Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a manufacturing client in Jackson, Tennessee who is hiring a Plant Controller. This client is looking for someone who will overseeing the month-end close and budgeting, payroll, and preparing weekly, monthly and annual reports for management in labor, overhead, scrap, and inventory. Responsibilities :

• Supervise and direct the activities of the accounting department staff
• Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective action
• Prepare and analyze financial statements
• Develop and maintain operational and financial controls
• Prepare and manage annual budget and forecast
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions
• Manage payroll and ensure accurate and timely processing of employee records
• Coordinate and review external audit activities
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Requirements :

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Manufacturing experience (required)
• Experience with cost reduction strategy
• Experience with sku's
• Experience with leadership of a large team
